Redis Pilots & Redis Makers. Call for speakers, Redis Conf 2013

Hello Redisers!

I would firstly like to thank &Yet for starting Redis conf last year. The intimate conference had 50 attendees with live stream following of over 3,000 viewers.  The demand for Redis and Redis related content has been continued to grow.

After my involvement last year and the recent growth of Redis SF, I’ve been handed the baton to chair and curate the second Redis conference. I’m excited to represent such a diverse, vibrant and wonderful community, with antirez being a wonderful core programmer in the center of the community.   With the help of &Yet, Redis conf will be the day before RealTimeConf. The &Yet team have a skill of making awesome conferences, events and spaces for sharing knowledge, hacking and meeting like minded devs.

This year the conference will be single track divided into two key themes, Redis Pilots & Redis Makers. Redis Pilots are people who’ve work with redis in there production apps, having gone from a small server to using Redis to manage a key part of production systems . Redis Makers are the tool makers, a satellite community of devs who have built on-top of Redis and related management, monitoring, ops tools, processes.
