RedisToGo Hurricane Preparation.
Dear RedisToGo-er.
As Hurricane Sandy approaches landfall we’re closely monitoring the status of RedisToGo hosting in the AWS-East data center. Most data centers have entered emergency mode and are prepared for the storm.
Since we’re unable to predict ‘acts of God’ we’ve offering a few options for RedisToGo customers interested in high availability.
1. Account replications. We’ll setup a master slave solution in another AWS data centre for the duration of the event.
2. Multi-data center. We can migrate RedisToGo users into a Joyent East and West data centre, for failover for the AWS data center.
The cost of this solution is on a per account basis, for a comprehensive quote please e-mail support@redsitogo.com or call Ben on (888) 733 4786.
We will provide additional information in the event of a disaster, and please feel free to contact us with questions via:
support@redistogo.com
RedisToGo Sandy Chat Room.
Updates will be posted to status.redsitogo.com
To all East Coast Devs, stay safe.
8:40pm PST Update. All servers are working correctly. RedisToGo team is setup for the night.
